Our Story
Acme Motors began in the 1940s, when David Glover opened the doors to a small garage and service station in the heart of downtown Little Current. He saw a need for honest, dependable auto repair on the Island — and that simple idea became a cornerstone of the community.
David's son Larry Glover carried the business forward and incorporated Acme Motors in 1953, cementing the family name in Little Current for good.
Today, the third generation is at the helm. Larry's son Patrick Glover and his wife Nancy own and operate the shop with the same integrity and craftsmanship the family has always been known for. And the story continues — Patrick and Nancy's son Austin is the fourth generation to work at Acme Motors, serving as a skilled technician and bringing fresh energy to a legacy more than 80 years in the making.
